The Embodiment Portal: For the Professionals

Ongoing access to the conference curriculum, community and content

The conference is for everyone, and the portal is for the professionals. “The Embodiment Portal” is what we call the purpose built platform that allows you to access and easily filter the vast content from the conference though your phone or lap-top. It helps you find the learning that’s ideal for you.

You can think of it as your embodiment:

University (it helps you learn)

Dojo (it helps you practice)

LinkedIn (it helps you connect)

and Netflix (it entertains and inspires)

It is a way to guide both cognitive and practice-based learning for busy people; and also an ongoing community platform where you can meet and connect with others with similar interests, discuss ideas and arrange local meet ups.

Portal features include:

  1. Straightforward easy-access layout
  2. Organised learning lists, content maps, overviews, and suggested modules (e.g. “intro to trauma” and “intermediate yoga trauma knowledge” to help structure your learning)
  3. Video suggestions based on your interests (you tell it) and past viewings, to easily find what you’ll most love
  4. The ability to find exactly what you want, by:
    • Speakers you love
    • Practices you love
    • Activity level – you may just want to hear a talk while cooking/cleaning/travelling, or may want one to jump around with!
    • How advanced it is theoretically – so experienced people are not bored and beginners are not lost
    • Emotional intensity – because sometimes we want to go there and sometimes not!
  5. Supportive written materials for all talks including concise content notes for every session
  6. A way to make notes about your learning on the system
  7. A way to record and review key insights, accessible as learning log
  8. Practice suggestions – with timed video links to save you time finding again – with diary syncing and reminder functions to back up your personal practice
  9. Interactive map and contact method to facilitate local meet-ups and practice groups (if desired of course)
  10. Links to all trainers own websites and advanced courses so you can easily go deeper into anything you taste
  11. Online tutorials and peer groups you can attend to guide and process your learning
