This section contains information about our website and the fundraising platform we provide and includes links to our policies and guidelines. These apply to your use of this website including the description of the fundraising project and related rewards and what we do with any personal information we collect as you use this website.
As a rewards-based crowdfunding platform, we are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
1.2 To make these Terms quicker to read, we use a few key definitions: we refer to our fundraising project as a ‘Campaign’ for which we are seeking to raise funds and offer ‘Rewards’. Person who coordinates the Campaign is called ‘Campaign Manager’, and people who are seeking to raise funds through offering Rewards as ‘Campaign Owners’. Community Members that support our Campaign by contributing funds as ‘Contributors’, their contributions as ‘Donations’, and the minimum total value of donations as ‘person goal’. The maximum period for which donations can be made for a campaign as the ‘Fundraising Period’ and the total value of donations (excluding cancelled Donations) that a Project has received at the end of the Fundraising Period as ‘Fundraising target’. We will use term ‘us’ or ‘we’ to refer to the project, as applicable.
1.3 We have created this platform to raise funds for a specific project (development of The Embodiment Portal through which we will stream The Embodiment Conference). This fundraising platform allows us to offer unique items, services or experiences (‘Rewards’) to our Contributors, as ‘thank you’ gifts for supporting our project. Through this process, our Contributors are also provided with an opportunity to create a community by promoting our Campaign on certain social media sites, to family, friends, and wider audience.
1.4. Please read these terms carefully before you use our platform, as they will govern our offers and the Donations you make as a Contributor.

2. Accessing and using teccrowdfund.org
2.1 Anyone can access teccrowdfund.org. There is no requirement to create a specific account or to sign up on the website. To donate, Contributors must be at least 18 years of age and must own a valid payment card acceptable to us.

4. Making Donations
As a Contributor, when you back our Campaign, you understand that the following rules and terms apply (in addition to all other terms)
4.1 Voluntary Donations – all financial contributions are made voluntary and at the sole discretion and risk of the Contributor
4.2 Guarantee of Success – by contributing to our Campaign, as a Contributor you are supporting a project and an idea that is currently in development. As a Contributor, you accept the risk that the Campaign may experience unforeseen challenges or delays. As Campaign Owners, we guarantee delivery of the Rewards as estimated in the description of each Reward category. Where needed, all changes and delays in the Rewards will be communicated with Contributors in a timely manner.
4.3 Refunds – Contributors may contact us directly to request a refund, in cases where they did not receive promised Rewards within stated time frame. We will assess each refund request individually and act according to previously defined refund rules under each Reward.
4.4 Payment Card Charge:
(a) when you make a donation to our Campaign, your card will be charged the amount of the Contribution you chose, after you confirm and submit your payment information.
(b) all payments are being processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe Inc (“Stripe”). In addition to our terms and conditions, separate T&Cs will apply to the provision of payment services provided to you by and the payments you make using its services. Any personal information you provide to Stripe will be processed in accordance with its privacy policies and not ours.
4.5 Communication between Campaign Manager and Contributors – once you have Contributed to our Campaign, you will be contacted to obtain additional information (such as shipping address, specific preferences for a Rewards, etc..). In some cases, you will be asked to provide such information within a certain time frame. Not doing so, may result in you not receiving your Reward. We will never ask you for information that is not related to you receiving your Rewards.
5. Our Obligations
5.1 As Campaign owners, we will:
(a) use any funds we receive from Contributors directly and solely for the purpose of achieving the Project Goals, as described here: https://www.teccrowdfund.org/spending/ and for no other purposes.
(c) be responsible for paying fees (unless otherwise covered by the Contributor) and all applicable taxes (including income tax and VAT or similar taxes)
6. Your Obligations
6.1 As a Contributor, you will
(a) makes sure that your chosen payment card has sufficient funds for payment of the Donation
(b) contact Campaign Manager to inform them about any changes in your personal details, connected to providing you with the Rewards that you have chosen at the time you made your donation
(c) provide the Campaign manager with the requested information to fulfil a Reward chosen at the time you made your pledge
7. Intellectual Property
Embodied Courses Ltd reserves the right to all intellectual property in relation to this website and the services provided. Use of the services does not give the Contributors any ownership in the services, its content or any trademark or logo used on the website.
Any information or material provided to us is based on a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual and royalty free licence to use such information and material in relation to the services we provide under our Terms and Conditions.
